It is important to keep a business office clean and tidy. Not only does a messy or dirty workplace look unprofessional, it is also demoralizing for employees and could even cause the spread of germs and diseases. A disinfecting all-purpose spray cleaner is generally the best choice for hard surfaces such as table tops and desks. Choose one that is designed dissolve all types of dirt and grease without causing harm to the surfaces. Also, disinfecting cleaners that are designed to be mixed in a bucket of water are often the best choice for hard surface floors.

If your office includes a kitchen or lunch room, a spray cleaner that contains bleach is best. Not only will this type of cleaner remove common food stains, but it will also kill pathogens that can be spread by food, such as salmonella. This will help keep your office kitchen clean and safe.

Computer equipment and other electronics in the office require special care. Choose a cleaner or wipes that are designed specifically for monitors and displays to avoid possible damage. A duster that does not leave behind any debris is a good cleaning tool to use. A can of compressed air is also good to keep on hand for cleaning keyboards.
